Love

Tenth of Tevet, 5766
January 10, 2006

This was the last of Timora's poems, with which she ended "Principally Poems," the collection of her poetry that she edited and arranged during the last year of her life:

And why.
Why live.
Suffer.
Fight, struggle.
Why pull and pull like a wretched, miserable beast -
For what.
In loneliness, in darkness, in the cold.
How much have I asked, and how much will I ask
And I am not the only one
Not only when sorrow blinds the eyes like a veil of tears.
But within me I know
And sometimes, like a flame
The answer blazes before me -
Love.

Sara, you are a beautiful, brave human being...it is easy to see why Timmi was so beautiful inside and out. You have taken a courageous journey by writing and sharing your grief with the world. I just know that Timmi would be proud of what you have accomplished in her memory.
Warmly,
Randi

Sara,
I never saw her picture before. What a beautiful girl with such a shining face.

I'm sorry that this blog is done. I hope that the writing has been helpful for you. I know you and Timora have served as a teacher through the blog.

I know it sounds frivilous but would you consider doing another blog?

I would like to thank all the readers who have stuck with this blog even though it sometimes couldn't have been easy.

Many people have kindly told me that they would like very much for me to continue writing, whether through a blog or in some other internet form. In the very near future, I will be concentrating on trying to get "Five Years Later" published as a book, and so (together with the fieldwork I'm doing for my MSW course) won't have time to write anything else.

However, writing this blog has been a very meaningful experience for me, and so in the medium term I hope to open a new internet site with memoirs and short stories based on my life. At that time, I'll contact those of you whom I know and let you know where to find my new site.

Thank you all again.

Shabbat Shalom,

Sara

Dear Sara,

Please accept my condolences. Your daughter was a very beautiful person.

Every day, I pray for a cure for cancer. We lost our son nearly two years ago, so I particularly appreciate your words and also Timmi's words.

Shalom

Your story really puts ones life into perspective. And I realise most people do not go through anything like you had too.

I wish you and your family only happiness.

Hi. My name is Eugene Gershin. I'd like to welcome you to Obadiah Shoher's blog, Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict.

Obadiah is a pen name of a politician. He writes extremely controversial articles about Israel, the Middle East politics, and terrorism.

Obadiah advocates political rationalism instead of moralizing. He is economic liberal and political conservative.

Google refused advertising our site and Amazon deleted reviews of Obadiah's book. Nevertheless, Obadiah’s is the largest Jewish personal blog, read by more than 100,000 people monthly. 210,000 people from 81 countries downloaded Obadiah’s book. The blog was voted the best overall in People’s Choice: Jewish and Israeli blogs Awards, received Webby Honoree and other awards.

Please help us spread Obadiah's message, and mention the blog in one of your posts, or link to us. We would greatly appreciate your comments at www.samsonblinded.org/blog

Best wishes,

Eugene Gershin
